Non-urgent dental to resume!

Dental Check up and cleanings to resume. The Australian Dental Association (ADA) and state government have advised non- urgent dental treatment can resume from the 28th of September under ADA Level 1 restrictions. We are now able to schedule all dental treatments for healthy patients from the 28th of September onwards. If we have cancelled your treatment due to COVID-19 restrictions we will be in contact to reschedule your appointment in the coming weeks. What does this mean? Good News! From the 28th of September, we will move to LEVEL 2 restriction. This means we will be able to provide dental treatments that are unlikely to generate aerosols or where aerosols generated have the presence of minimal saliva/blood due to the use of rubber dams. A run down of treatments allowed can be found by on the ‘ADA Dental Service Restrictions in COVID-19 ‘.   Victorian Dental Restrictions Update   We are writing to update you on how Aspire One Dental is currently dealing with the COVID-19 crisis. The Australian Dental Association has recommended we move to level 3 dental restrictions as of the 7th of August. This means we will be deferring all non urgent treatment such as regular check-ups and cleans until restrictions are lifted. Melbourne lockdown update As a result of the continuing increase in COVID-19 case numbers in parts of Melbourne, the Victorian Premier has announced stay-at-home orders for Metropolitan Melbourne. In response, the Australian Dental Association has recommended all non-urgent treatment be postponed from the 16th of July and the use of some equipment be reduced to minimise the spread of COVID-19. Melbourne local lockdown update As a result of the continuing increase in COVID-19 case number in parts of Melbourne, the Victorian Premier has announced targeted stay-at-home orders for these areas.
