This has always not only been my favorite Phantasm movie but one of my all-around favorite movies in general of any genre. Seen it countless times. I have a lot of love and respect for the original as well, but I've always found the second to be a far superior movie. Wonder if there's any others here who like this one the best of the series. It was my introduction to the series which for years and years I've been a fan of. I have an 8 year old son and 11 year old daughter. She, like me, likes scary movies, and her brother is along for the ride as well. I'm trying to start off easy. I let them watch the Village (not horror I know) but creepy, before testing the waters with The Sixth Sense. Next was Pet Sematary at my daughter's request (the original, and we had to watch most without my son because my wife disagreed), followed by Paranormal Activity, and The Ring.
