It's not easy to speak about this but it's necessary. On November 23rd, my girlfriend, Alex, was shot twice in a drive by, puncturing her lungs and grazing her liver. With support from friends and family, and the treatment of the medical team at Washington Hospital Center, both of which I am beyond grateful for, Alex is safe and recovering at home after spending 11 days at the hospital.
