Hey all, so I have been a bit of a post-rock rabbit hole, usually comes in waves every year or so. I vaguely remember a band and album that I was really enjoying, but I never saved it. It was likely a year or two ago, and one of the song titles was something along the lines of "Unheard thoughts of a dying child" or something that similarly invoked a visceral emotional reaction. r/postrock, I need your help! I've been building out my CD collection for nearly 20 years, but it's thin on postrock outside of several Sigur Ros albums I'd like to be on the lookout for postrock on future hunts through used CD offerings at record stores. If there was a Dewey decimal system for music, I could just go to the postrock section of the shelves.
