From time to time I go through my fabric stash to see what I have available and how much and it is not a very fast process. I got the idea to make a fabric swatch template, where I can see everything I have available and also be able to feel the fabric which is crucial in many sewing projects.
Like every sewist I do also have lots of fabric scraps that are not organized and most of the time I have to go through bins to check what I have and If it would work for the upcycling project I am working on. Here comes my second idea, a fabric scrap book sounds even better.

Who doesn’t love having another vest in their wardrobe? Personally, vests are one of my favorite clothes to sew but also wear.
For this particular design, the idea was to make a vest that does not require a lot of fabric but is still classic and can be worn any season. The vest pattern features two waist darts on the front and two straps on the back.
I have drafted this pattern based on my measurements and it is digitized as a PDF file and includes a 1 cm (3/8 inch) seam allowance. The vest was drafted based on the following measurements: Bust 88 cm, Waist 74 cm, B Cup.

The beetle applique cushion pattern will be free to download until the first week of December, so take the chance to make something cute for this year’s holidays for your kids, nephews, or nieces.

Today I am super excited to talk about the Baby Apron Bib Pattern that I launched a couple of weeks ago. Maybe some of you remember but I first released a free ‘one size’ version of this pattern back in 2019.
This year I worked on a new and improved version of the pattern since sewing and pattern-making for babies are two of the things that I love most.
The Baby Apron Bib is reversible and can be sewn using two different methods (with or without bias/tape) where instructions and illustrations are included to walk you through each step.
The pattern now comes in three sizes:

Today I am very excited to share my Tulle Socks Pattern inspired by Marchesa tulle/lace socks.
Back in 2018, I shared a step-by-step tutorial on how to make the socks and since then it has been one of my most shared and viewed tutorials.
For all the sewing enthusiasts that keep coming back to my blog but also for the new ones I decided to share this as a free pattern that comes in three sizes S, M, and L.
The socks can be made using any kind of fabric that has enough stretch and why not some sparkle too? They feature a relaxed fit which makes your feet comfortable while wearing them.

Well, I was always intimidated by drafting a pattern for a jumpsuit. Combining pants and a top sewn together seemed a difficult project.
Recently I had the chance to test the Adele Jumpsuit for Sew Love Patterns. So, I thought this was the chance for me to sew a jumpsuit for the first time, and to my surprise, it went smoothly.
The Pattern
As I mentioned above the pattern is from Sew Love Patterns based in the UK. I have been following this pattern studio for some time now and I was super happy to test for this particular jumpsuit. Johanna the designer behind the pattern has such a un ..read more
