Given that I worked in BGC for a while along with my frequent visits during the weekends, I thought that I already explored all the interesting restaurants in the area. However, I was wrong. Normally I get too proud to admit it, but for this case, I was happy that I was. Apparently, there is this modern Indian restaurant called Indus that is slightly isolated along the 25th Street of BGC, and I'm very excited to share more about it here in this blog post.  How did I discover Indus?  My brother's girlfriend got to dine in here during a despedida party for one of her colleagues, w ..read more

?Looking back to my first ever Nikkei Experience The first time that I went to Nikkei was quite memorable and considerably a personal milestone. It was 2017. I was still with my first job working in SGV, and well let's just say that I didn't have much. However, despite such situation, I managed to allot a budget for it, and eventually have a dinner there with my high school barkada. I can recall spending almost a thousand, and back then it was already such an achievement. A reunion with the original Nikkei restaurant Fast forward to 2023, I received an invitation to see Nikkei once again ..read more

I recently discovered Sunae early 2023 when I attended the launching of Carmen's Best kiosk, which will also be set-up in this restaurant. From there, I got a preview of what is offered here in Sunae, which I'll be sharing in this blog post. Where is Sunae located? It's funny how despite my multiple visits in One Bonifacio High Street, it was my first time seeing Sunae. This is probably attributable to its location, which is somehow tucked within the 2/F viewing deck of the said mall. Given this, we may somehow say that Sunae qualifies as a hole-in-the-wall, and this adds to its char ..read more

Sushi Ten's Authentic Chirashi Bowl in Malate - A Must-Try!

I just recently discovered this hole-in-the-wall restaurant called Sushi Ten. It serves high-quality authentic Japanese dishes, and they have this chirashi bowl that is filled with mouthsploding seafood goodness. It instantly got me hooked at first bite, and I am confident that sushi/sashimi enthusiasts will love this place. Why do I say that it's hole-in-the-wall?  I tried searching this restaurant in Google, but I couldn't seem to find anything. I tried Facebook, and I also got nothing. One of the possible reasons is that Sushi Ten just recently opened late December 2022. Perh ..read more
