SOUTH SURREY POOL CLOSURE IN APRIL 2020 South Surrey pool has notified us that the pool will be closed for annual maintenance from April 12-26th.  During this time the practices will be moved to an alternate location – either Grandview Heights Aquatic Centre (GHAC) or Surrey Sport and Leisure Centre (SSLC). The changes are as follows so please mark your calendars. Our U16 boys brought home the silver medal at Water Polo Canada’s National Championship in Calgary. This marks the best result ever by a Surrey Water Polo team in a National Championship match. Four week after winning gold in the Western Championships, coach Vladimir Ushakov took his Warriors back to Calgary to face the very best in the nation. Our West Coast Warriors U14 girls and boys, under the direction of coaches Vladimir Ushakov and Vlad Kruglikovskiy have just returned from  NCL Western National Championship in Calgary. After a hard fought battle in round robin play, the boys finished third in their pool.  They went on to a solid 12-8 win against the Edmonton Thunderbirds earning them a spot in the consolation finals against local team the Calgary Destroyers.  They had a strong finish, placing 5th overall with the 13-10 win over Calgary. Surrey Water Polo has won it’s first gold medal in National Championship League play !!! Our West Coast Warriors U16 boys, under the direction of coaches Vladimir Ushakov and Vlad Kruglikovskiy, won gold at the NCL Western National Championship in Calgary. After finishing second in league play, the boys ran the table with three consecutive wins when it counted most.
