This is the time for my fashion review (or shopping review) of my year 2023. It’s the 4th year I’ve been doing this exercise, listing everything I’ve bought (and received as gifts) in terms of clothing and accessories/jewelry during the past year. This allows me to assess my consumption but also to shop with mindfulness (as I note each purchase on my phone as it happens). Let’s see what 2023 brought into my wardrobe!   13 NEW ADDITIONS in 2023: 8 PURCHASES and 5 GIFTS In comparison with previous years (2022: 9 acquisitions including 5 purchases, 2021: 13 acquisitions including 7 purchase ..read more

As I stayed in Paris during July and August, I didn’t escape in terms of location but through reading, going out, discovering fashion or catching up on movies in the capital. So before I leave for vacation, I wanted to share with you some of my summer discoveries, which may inspire you, whether you are still on vacation or back to prepare for September.   Some new fashion items My 2022 fashion review is coming up in a few months: I’m still paying attention to my consumption of clothes and accessories, but I’m not insensitive to new discoveries, as long as they remain relatively thoughtfu ..read more

Last year’s fashion review was a good one for you… and for me, it was useful to get an idea of what I really consumed during a whole year and to know if my acquisitions were judicious or not. I’m repeating the experiment for 2021 by listing all the clothes and accessories that have entered my wardrobe. Let’s go for the complete list!   13 novelties in 2021 : 7 purchases and 6 gifts in 2021 In 2021, I made more purchases than in 2020 (7 instead of 3 in 2020). Perhaps the semblance of a social life back and the fact that I didn’t accept any fashion partnerships in 2021 may have had an infl ..read more

Fall is back and a Five senses article was necessary! On the one hand to share my favorites and on the other hand, to try to give you some ideas to spend these grey days in a warmer and more pleasant way…while slowly approaching the Christmas season!   TOUCH Finding my fall wardrobe is quite satisfying, especially since after my many sortings, I kept only what I really like. So I vary the pleasures by composing outfits in which comfort has a primary role. Here is the one I really liked to wear lately.   And for shoes, fall is the occasion to find these two pairs. I had to give up ..read more

I’m back on my blog after a few months of absence, following technical problems that prevented me from posting. Everything seems to be working again (fingers crossed): so I’m taking advantage of this to finally find you here! This summer, I stayed in Paris and didn’t move around much, but that didn’t stop me from escaping on several occasions during a few immobile trips (which you may have seen, if you follow my Instagram stories), whether it was via exotic Parisian places or other inspiring reading. If you haven’t had the chance to go far away and you miss Japan, maybe this article will give ..read more

It’s been over a month since I’ve been away from my blog but I’m back today with a new “Five senses” post to give some news and share my latest favorites. Here we go!   Touch I recently collaborated with the committed brand The Simones to create a teeshirt to celebrate all the women we are. The brand is donating €1 per shirt sold and I decided to donate the entire amount I will receive for this collaboration (which will vary depending on the number of shirts sold) to the association called PLAN. This association works to change the rights of girls and equality between girls and boys by ..read more

My fashion purchases of 2020

The month of January inaugurates the year, but can also be the time to look back at the year that has just gone by. I thought that it would be interesting to make the 2020 sum up of my purchases in clothing and accessories, especially since I have been consuming in a more reasoned way for the last few years. This is part of my quest for minimalism and simplicity. This assessment would have been impossible for me to make (or would have been very indigestible to read) 5-10 years ago given the excessive amount of clothes that entered my closet every month (week?). This year, unless I forgot, the ..read more

Autumn is here, and the bad weather and dreary days has come along. To make the most of this season, which often discourages people from going outside, there’s nothing like staying quietly at home to hibernate in a comfy cocoon. Last year, I have already talked about the pleasures of autumn and my tips on how to feel good at home. Today, here are a few additional tracks and little pleasures of the moment that help me face the gray outside. Hopefully this will inspire you to make everything around you cosy… and more especially during this special year!   Warm candles Candles “La bougie h ..read more

As I do every summer, I am enjoying what the Capital has to offer, and even more this year. Maybe I’ll get away from Paris a little during this month of August, but not for very long and preferably in a remote corner in the middle of nature. That said, last weekend I tried to spend a “getaway” day in Paris and thought it might be interesting to share it with you. It might give you some ideas, since in one day, I discovered a lot of interesting and exotic addresses! Escape while staying in Paris: we totally validate!   9am : Japanese reading at breakfast Let’s start the day with some rea ..read more
