I have been in project and program management before, but there is a lot of competition for these jobs right now, so I wanted to apply for something more niche.
Got an interview coming up for this position and I get that I will be procuring software, negotiating contracts and integrating it into the organization, as well as always looking for better options and cheaper contracts.
I could use some help understanding the finite details, Google and AI give vague descriptions of how exactly this needs to be done in a corporate setting. Any advice would be much appreciated.

How do you all stay organized?
As a procurement professional, I often have all kinds of tasks, emails, and projects happening. How do you keep track of it all?
Something like todoist? Writing it all down on pen and paper?
Looking for better alternatives than what I am doing.

"I'm 26, and I've been freelancing as a video editor, but things aren't going so well. I'm thinking about switching careers. I found this diploma program in Singapore that offers 6 months of training followed by a 6-month paid internship. I know what supply chain means, but I'm not sure about the day-to-day work. What I want to know is if there's a role in supply chain that doesn’t require meeting with many people but involves mostly working with computers."

Hi all.
I work in procurement at a Fortune 200 company. Ive been doing this for 2.5 years or so.
I’m beginning to feel a little frustrated and maybe even bored in procurement.
There are certain things that keep me tied to procurement. I think I do have an impact on the company’s bottom line and as an organization, we do have a seat at the table. However, it feels so transactional when it shouldn’t.
Cost, cost, cost. The lowest cost. To me, it’s about more than that and my personality doesn’t really fit that. We have an expectation to generate x in savings and I have no idea how we’re going to ..read more

Hi,
I just want to get your insights on my next role. Currently I'm in a Procurement role. 2 roles open up in our company (Medical Industry) Demand Planner and Supply Planner. I applied for demand planner and didn't get the role since they wanted someone with YOE but got redirected to Supply Planner role. I'm in discussion with the Manager and offering me 85-90k Base salary.
Am i being low balled? Or is this enough since i have no experience?
Based in Sydney, Australia
TIA!

Have any of you set up a vendor scorecard system? If so, what metrics did you start with? How did you grade and deliver information to the suppliers? Any help is appreciated.

Hi, looking at Panjiva, ImportYeti, etc. noticed that the data is for sea shipments. Saw somewhere that data for land shipments is not available or as detailed. I'm hoping to find a way to look at shippers / shipments through the border from the US to Mexico. Is there any place where I can find that?

Hi,
Has anyone ever interviewed at Meta for a Supply chain position? If yes, how was your experience? Any specific topics/questions I should prepare for?
P.S: This is for a Sourcing and operations role within the Data center Infrastructure team. I have around 6 years of SCM experience and I also have a M.S in SCM with an Undergrad in engineering.
