Dear good people of reddit, I'm fairly new to the world of export sales, having just under a year of experience under my belt. Currently, I'm working at a medium-sized snack manufacturer in Taiwan, with export team of 4 people including the General Manager who is also our head of export. There was no formal training done, but I do get some tips and guidance from the GM. My goal is to eventually launch my own export/import trading company back in my home country, Indonesia, but for now, I'm eager to gain some solid experience working alongside experienced professionals in the field. I work in internal logistics for a corporation. All of our accounts are F500 companies, so super fast paced and lots to learn. Before this job, I only had domestic logistics experience. I do 99% int’l logistics in my current role, however, there was no job training. I got tossed into the water and had to learn to swim. I’m almost done with my Logistics and Supply Chain degree, but applying the classroom knowledge to real world isn’t as direct of a translation. I feel like I’m still missing some basics. The issue is that I don’t know what I’m missing until something comes up and I’m not sure h ..read more

Hey everyone, I'm looking for a reliable 3PL partner to help us handle returns for our business. Just to give you a heads up, we're currently dealing with an inflatable bubble house set. It's pretty big, with box dimensions of about 76 cm x 54 cm x 45 cm / 30" x 21.3" x 17.72", and weighs around 90 lbs. Right now, we've only got 2 units to handle, but we're expecting more down the line. Also, our company owner is based in Europe, so we're specifically looking for a reliable 3PL company based in the US to handle these returns. At the moment, we don't need any refurbishing. We just need a solid ..read more
