Else – Blue
Stereofox

Else has welcomed listeners to an immersive experience on their newest body of work Sequence Pt II, and one of the brightest gems in their sonic treasury is the second track “Blue”. French electronic duo Else rose to fame thanks to their edgy and emotive brand of synthwave that’s infused with ‘French Touch’. “Blue” showcases a different side to the duo as they’ve crafted a pleasantly atmospheric vibe suitable for the poolside dance floor and for unwinding in the evening. It’s the melodic portion of “Blue” is that really stands out here, especially the lead as it offers feelings synonymous wit ..read more

Now this is an interesting collab! “All I Need” is the first official release of IS U IS U – a new DJ duo comprised of iconic electronic producers Kito and Chrome Sparks. I was initially acquainted with Kito’s work during the height of the dubstep era, while Chrome Sparks I stumbled upon thanks to Chillwave. Their latest track “All I Need” ventures into the type of house that’s suitable for nightclub dance floors and even beach parties. The vocals are catchy, the melodies are colorful, and the bass has such a gorgeous bounce that complements the rhythm section. I really can’t wait to hear the ..read more

The track “Quiet Skies” beautifully encapsulates what the new project by softy and Two Scents is all about. Under the Stars EP captures the feeling of stargazing and transports listeners into a relaxing headspace. Softy has found joy in playing the jazz piano since a young age, and this perfectly complements Two Scents’ background too. The pair showcase their affinity for jazz throughout this project. On “Quiet Skies” it shines through the presence of a bright, reverb-coated sax that enters the mix right after the intro. This is accompanied by dreamy keys that accentuate the track’s atmospher ..read more

Shane Sato’s new release “Discovery” is not only brimming with musical opulence, but we’re offered quite a lush listening experience from start to finish. Shane is a L.A.-based multi-instrumentalist, producer, songwriter, and overall dreamer. “Discovery” certainly blurs the lines of electronic and chillhop beautifully thanks to his tasteful addition of synths. On top of this, Shane’s jazz background shines through as the piano arrangements are decorated across the mix towards the second half of the track. “Discovery” marks the sound of a warm spring morning, the flowers have bloomed, and you ..read more

In such an elegant fashion, DAISY WORLD has borrowed from a range of different genres to bring to life her new release “pho & cry”. The name DAISY WORLD has echoed far and wide after her collaborations with Tyler the Creator and Steve Lacy. Her style of music not only blends a range of genres, but it also reminds us of different eras. On “pho & cry” she channels ’90 grunge into r&b in quite a soulful manner, and this is backed by punchy and raw hip hop drums that breathe life into the rhythm section. DAISY WORLD shares, “pho & cry is my ode to all the sweet 90s grunge pop ball ..read more

Archie Holmes – Falling

Archie Holmes’ latest track “Falling” sounds like an elegant mixture of Jasper Tygner and FKJ’s early sample-heavy works. This UK-based producer is no stranger to the Stereofox platform as we’ve featured his early works, and we’ve released an EP with him titled Dawn to Dusk back in 2023. His sonic evolution is beautifully encapsulated throughout “Falling” since Archie has merged soulful samples with his signature synth-heavy sound. In fact, Archie pulls inspiration from all over and adorns the rhythm section with UKG influences to capture that dance-friendly allure. This track serves as the i ..read more

On his latest release with acclaimed producer Twit One, Syf of Talking Knots elegantly flows over a jazzhop instrumental that emulates the feeling of being in a “Jazz Cafe“. This drop signifies the reappearance of the London-based rapper on Stereofox, his initial appearance being alongside Handbook back in 2023. The collaboration between Syf and Twit One welcomes listeners into an introspective headspace thanks to Syf’s ocean-deep lyricism, and Twit One’s calming melodic arrangement of the keys. Throughout the first half, Syf opens up about some of the struggles he’s facing in such a relatabl ..read more

Teho – Rising

In my opinion, Teho’s music has some of the best sound design within the genre of melodic house. His newest release “Rising” serves as a marvelous example of that sentiment! When we initially showcased the French producer on Stereofox, it was with the track “Fury“. Interestingly though, “Rising” brings to mind certain elements of it. The intro gives us a hint of the journey we’re about to take thanks to the bright and emotive lead – a feature that stands as one of the key components of “Rising”. It’s the piercing arp however that really breathes life into the track and energizes the listener ..read more

Seeing these two names together continually excites me! karasu. and NOGYMX has teamed up to offer us a cinematic experience that bridges the gap between chillhop and downtempo. The Switzerland-based producer has gained serious notoriety by fusing lofi beats with Eastern instrumentation and orchestral elements. That’s exactly what we’re acquainted with on “Zephyr”, albeit with more of an emphasis on lush, luminous synths. This creates an enchanting soundscape for listeners, while the melodies spawned by the arps and guitars make sure we’re fully engaged. As it stands, “Zephyr” is certainly my ..read more

Rosbeh – Music Taught Me Life

My gateway into the world of Rosbeh was through the track “Oceans”, one of my favorite tracks of all time. With his latest release, “Music Taught Me Life”, my appreciation for this man’s music has definitely become deeper. Rosbeh is an Iranian-German producer and classically trained pianist based in Ibiza, who has been steadily growing in recognition since he self-released his first EP in 2017, Journey In My Head. “Music Taught Me Life” has the signature markings of a Rosbeh track as it’s decorated with a catchy bass line, pulsating synths, and gripping melodies that are brimming with emotion ..read more
