if i was to put a small pill into an essential oil, would it dissolve? and especially if it was something else, is there a risk of exploding? and especially if i put a diazepam pill in an essential oil, would it contaminate it and make it a reusable drug?

Should I attempt to make my own blends by purchasing singles or take the lazy route and just buy a bunch of premade blends? I'd love to get creative and learn, but it's very overwhelming. Not to mention, some blends have up to 10 different varieties of EOs (like Eden's Garden blends). Thoughts? Thanks!

Does any one know or have tried an essential oil that smells similar to Black Ice for little trees?

I collect essential oils and also pure aroma compounds; it's a smell collection. Sometimes the oils leak a little bit, or get on the threads of the caps and then on the threads of the bottles. The whole bottle smells, and so do fingers after handling. Some in particular (lilac and agarwood essential oils come to mind, and also gamma undecalactone aroma compound) are especially pervasive and seem to wind up everywhere. It becomes hard to smell the other oils once I'm contaminated.
How do you fix this?

Hello everyone,
I am a first time poster, and recently got into essential oils. I’ve been dabbling with an essential oil kit that came with my diffuser and have seen positive effects from using it. How ever as I keep reading more into essential oils I’m starting to learn there’s more power behind them! I learned that I shouldn’t have my diffuser running all day but rather in 30min intervals which I started doing today.
Im looking for specific essential oils that will aid me when I study. I tend to study for about 9 hours a day and by the end I feel very stressed out and brain dead. Are there ..read more

Essential oils are poor and expensive for scenting candles. I’ve read that adding a lil water with few drops of EO in the well near the wick is a good alternative. I want to make a dropper bottle of the solution for convenience to shake and add to the candle well when I light it. How much EO per oz of water is required?

I am wondering if the duration of exposure matters. If diffusing an essential oil within an enclosed room is causing allergic reaction on my skin, will I still have reaction if I’m just simply walking past the lobby concierge (3-5 times daily) diffusing the same essential oil?
