I collect essential oils and also pure aroma compounds; it's a smell collection. Sometimes the oils leak a little bit, or get on the threads of the caps and then on the threads of the bottles. The whole bottle smells, and so do fingers after handling. Some in particular (lilac and agarwood essential oils come to mind, and also gamma undecalactone aroma compound) are especially pervasive and seem to wind up everywhere. Hello everyone, I am a first time poster, and recently got into essential oils. I’ve been dabbling with an essential oil kit that came with my diffuser and have seen positive effects from using it. How ever as I keep reading more into essential oils I’m starting to learn there’s more power behind them! Essential oils are poor and expensive for scenting candles. I’ve read that adding a lil water with few drops of EO in the well near the wick is a good alternative.
