I managed to finish the year strong with a Gabonese beer enjoyed in Gabon, and I start the new year with a new entry as well. I’ve actually had this beer for some time now but haven’t had the chance to cross it off the list. This beer is part of a trade I made with Fredrik Wolff, who I have traded with before, back in July last year. I was able to bring with me some cans of Régab from Gabon so hopefully more trade ..read more

It’s been all silent here since the last beer back in February this year, but I can assure you that I am still hunting for new countries to try beers from. Today I am finally back with a new entry on the list: Belize! As before trading is the way to go to get new countries unless you actually travel to the different countries. I got this beer from Matthew, who’s been featured here on the blo ..read more

I’m starting the new year just like I finished the last one, with a new country tick! The story also stays the same as this was part of the shipment I got from Marek in Poland last year.
The beer is hazy golden in colour with a thin sticky white foam layer on top. It tastes sweet and grainy with a hint of citrus. Slight bitterness towards the end ..read more

We have a new contributer to the blog! But the story is very similar to the previous ones. Thanks to the online trading community I am able to keep this blog alive, and this time with a very hard to get country. It is actually the first time I review a beer from Oceania since SP Lager from Papua New Guinea back in January 2019. After some busy weeks at work and then a well deserved vacation I am finally back with a new entry! This week I’m trying Flag Spéciale from Togo. The story on how I got the beer is still the same as this was part of the shipment I got from Marek late last year.

Another beer from the shipment from Marek in Poland. As I am heading to work again on Monday this is the last entry for a couple of weeks, and I’ll be back with some new countries once I’m back home.
The beer is clear and golden in colour (like I’ve written so many times…) with a white foamy head that made me stop while pouring. It smells a little sweet and malty and taste is similar only ..read more

I am back home from work and we all know what that means, a new beer from a new country! The story is the same as some of my other recent entries. Bought this and some others from Marek in Poland some time ago, but due to work it takes me quite some time to taste them all. As mentioned before you can see the upcomming beers at the bottom of this page.

Finally a new entry that doesn’t contain the same story. I’ve recently been introduced to a beertrading community where likeminded people are looking for new countries to cross of their list. That is how I got in contact with Teemu from Finland who kindly sent me this beer from French Guiana while I sent some beer from Aruba and Puerto Rico in return.
The beer is ..read more

I am back home after some weeks at work, which means I can continue with some of the beers I have stored here at home. The story on how I got the beer remains the same as the previous entries from this year.
The beer is light golden in colour with a foamy white top to it. Not a lot of smell to it, but there is some sweetness in the smell. The taste is also on the sweet side with some malty bitter ..read more

We have come to the last beer I’m able to review before going back to work, but if you look at the bottom of this site you will see what is next to be crossed of the list when I am back home in a couple of weeks. Same story on how I got this beer as the beers from the last two weeks.
