Aloha all, Hope you aren’t too cold with the winter storms that seem to want to keep on bringing snow and cold. I want to thank everyone who purchased a Zebra Magnet from Bedecked & Beadazzled. We were able to donate $600 to the Primary Immune Deficiency Foundation to support research for my rare disease. Stitchers purchased enough magnets that Ruth donated almost $300 and I matched the amount. This helps tremendously since it is not an area that gets a lot of research, Common Variable Immune Deficiency and all the problems that occur because of it. Thanks again! Aloha All, It has been a long time since I chatted with you. Many things have kept me from blogging. A primary issue was the actual platform that I blog on. It has been a REAL headache! I have finally enlisted professional assistance so things will be much better in a couple of weeks. Blog will take on a bit of a new look and I will have time to actually blog and stitch, which will be fabulous! I also lost a dear friend who I would occasionally collaborate with on this blog. Her death was sudden and devastating. In the near future I will post in Readers Showcase about Tess. Tess used a lot of ..read more

Aloha All, I hope everyone is enjoying the warmer weather and stitching in your favorite summer spots. We have had a fairly rainy week so I have been putting a few extra stitches in on my last class project, Easy Breezy. No new classes to show, I believe my next mystery class starts in September, which is just around the corner. Until then I will be stitching on Easy Breezy and my little Owl from Love You More. Owl by Love You More. Today I am showing how my friend Jane, of Chilly Hollow Needlepoint Adventure, added a border to a small painted canvas, The border truly ..read more

Aloha All, The month of June flew by and with it, two classes that I took through Bedecked & Beadazzled. First came Transformation, by a Kimberly Designs, followed closely by a Mary Legallet of Whimsical Stitch class. Everyone chose a Terry Runyan canvas that had Stitch Concepts written by Mary. Terry Runyan is an artist distributed by Maggie & Co. Both classes were hosted by Ruth Schmuff of Bedecked & Beadazzled via Zoom. What can I say, so much fun! Of course there was also The Sirens mermaid mystery class ..read more

A New Year & New Classes!

Aloha All, This year has started off with a bang. My first Zoom-bellishment class of 2021 was held by Bedecked & Beadazzled in early January. These classes are wonderful. It is easy for Ruth, or any teacher, to demonstrate different techniques. Everyone gets a close up view of the technique on our screen at home. Zoom classes also make it easy for people to gather from around the country in the comfort of their own stitching space. This makes for a fun class! Todays stitch comes to you courtesy of Jane Wood. If you have been following me for a while you know Jane is a good friend and blog ..read more

Aloha All, I have to admit I was unaware that it had been a couple of weeks since my last post.  This year is whizzing past me, just like Beep Beep my new Mystery Class at Bedecked & Beadazzled.  Todays post features my Silk Ribbon Flower class and my latest Mystery Class.  The stitch of the day is Small Scallop Variation. It feels like just a few days since  I was in Columbus.  I must say I had a grand time taking this class.  My loosey goosey tension was an advantage in the Ribbon Embroidery class.  You don’t want to b ..read more
