We officially kicked off fall wedding season, I suppose not officially FALL but we’re going to call it that… or I suppose we can say, we ended our SUMMER wedding season (I prefer that) on the most gorgeous day with Kelly and Travis at Perrysburg’s Carranor Hunt and Polo Club. The adjective I’d use to describe the day… SWOONworthy.  Kelly’s dress was just a dream… fluttery on the bottom with the perfect modern cutout top.  Love that juxtaposition.  Travis looked like a gentleman with his classic vested morning coat… definitely Prince Harry vibe! These two went against formalities ..read more

May 22 we kicked off 2021 wedding season… and it felt awesome.  It felt like 2019 wedding vibes.  It’s funny how when entering a room, without a mask, we have to declare: I’m full vaccinated, is this OK I don’t have a mask on?  New normal for a little while?  I’m not sure but I want to be respectful to all in the room. Maggie and Reed scored the perfect summer, but spring, day.  They team they assembled, felt like home and their friends and family complimented the couple’s laid back vibe about all the fuss of the day.  Maggie looked a dream and her ladies wore flu ..read more

Asking the couple to share the link to their wedding photos and posting to your social media, using in an ad or on your website. And here’s why… • Once the photographer takes the image, they hold the copyright to that photo ..read more

Hello there blog! So nice to see you… finally! I know I am not alone in saying that 2020 has been a shit show… but being in what I have always joked to be a “bulletproof” industry, meaning, people will ALWAYS get married, I didn’t see the pandemic coming to prove me wrong. We are 9 months in to 2020 and this is my first MWP session. First engagement session and this weekend I am photographing my first 2020 wedding. Monica and Tyler met me downtown on a Sunday morning, which I always love and suggest for downtown sessions, no matter the city. It is generally pretty quiet, although, there are al ..read more

Outdoors goes indoors

What happens when you choose your date and venue with the vision of a beautiful ceremony under blue skies and then you’re faced with thunderstorms, hail and 100% chance of rain all day?  You’re faced with that decision to move it indoors.  It makes you want to throw a temper tantrum but also you realize there is nothing you can do about the weather.  Mother Nature can sometimes be a fickle asshole.  Yep, I said it. I will say, that if it is under 75% chance of rain during your window of time the ceremony is scheduled, please allow some wiggle room.  Keep it outside, take the risk.  We have pho ..read more
