WARNING: Following the instructions in this post will delete a lot of things that can not be recovered! If you really want to delete a tenant, MAKE SURE YOU ARE WORKING ON THE CORRECT ONE! The author of this post does not take any responsibility for what you do!
Deleting an Azure Tenant is pretty straightforward, if you know how to do it. But there is one caveat where many people (including myself) have struggled in the past. The problem is that very often you do everything you need to do correctly, but still can not delete the tenant and get this very generic error:

There are plenty of tutorials on how to start with Bicep so that I do not need to rewrite everything. A great post has been published by Tobias Zimmergren: https://zimmergren.net/getting-started-azure-bicep/
But I want to use this post to collect some important links:

Wir plau ..read more

Sometimes you need to know how many blobs are in your storage account by storage tier (hot, cool, archive).
Of course, you can just open the Azure portal and look at your container. And you will see the storage tier there:
But if you are looking for a summary or have many blobs, that does not work. Here are 2 solutions:
Option 1: Storage Account Metrics
Just go to your storage account, select metrics from the menu and set the following filters:
Scope: <your storage account>
Metric Namespace: “Blob”
Metric: “Blob Count”
Then apply a split by clicking the “Apply Splitting” button and se ..read more

If you are a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), this might sound familiar.
During my long career as a Microsoft Certified Trainer, I literally used the download center for trainer documents hundreds of times. However, downloading the teacher pdfs and course slides has always been a hassle.
More often than not I had to fight with the Learning Download Manager Tool LDM.exe. The tool is a proprietary download manager from Microsoft Learning and it saved me from many retries in the old days when I had to download entire virtual machine images for the trainings.
However, the world has changed. The ..read more

In a recent customer engagement, I stumbled across this issue and learned some new things that I want to share and could be helpful to someone else in the future.
I set up Azure Active Directory Domain Services (Azure AD DS) in order to bring Kerberos/NTLM to the cloud virtual machines.
Everything seemed to be set up correctly, but when I tried to join an Azure virtual machine to the domain, I received the following error message:
Computer Name/Domain Changes
The following error occurred attempting to join the domain "manuelmeyer.net":
The user name or password is incorrect.

Slide 3: “Ende”.
