Hi everyone,
I truly believe in the power of Interdisciplinary Design. Massimo Vignelli once said "If you Can Design One Thing, You Can Design Everything."
Now I want to share HOW to design everything and let people know that it's an option that boosts your creativity and opens more doors than it closes. Hopefully, someone reading this finds some inspiration from my story, especially given the Design climate just now.
For me, Interdisciplinary Design came by accident. I started out as a Graphic Designer in a small Scottish city where you only followed the creative opportunities that were avai ..read more

Hey hi hello!
I'm a Social Media Manager, with a design background, who has chronic migraines (as the post title says, lol) and my vision is working very well. However, the headances are starting to increase and I believe my screentime is causing a lot my migraines. (While working/editing and unfortunately "logging off" and then still being on a screen of some sort.)
TL;DR — I've tried a couple of pairs of blue light glasses but I'm not sure if they're doing their job. Does anyone else, who works in social or design, have this issue and tried something that has helped them?
Have a great day ..read more

I’m a career switcher, coming from IT to design, I want to specialize in product design. My previous job had UX responsibilities, I worked with some UI designers got really interested in becoming a full product designer (blending ux,ui and business). I've tried applying for product design or similar positions but I get the same feedback every time, I need more design experience.
So I saved up to study a 1.5 year Interactive Media Design program in college which has graphic design courses and ui/ux, more 90% graphic design though.
I’m going into my last sem and I am not *that* good at this! De ..read more

I have no experience with UI/UX design, so I would appreciate your opinion on the UI of my resume builder web app. Currently, users can edit their resume template by changing the content directly on the template. Do you think this provides a good user experience, or would it be better to have details entered using separate inputs?

So I work for a client for many years doing branding for food & drink products. He had a contract with an international food chain for a proposed line of products which fell through and he was reimbursed a substantial amount given that the product didn’t go ahead. A design was created for this product by an international ad agency and over 70K was paid for this design, I done the roll out work. I was on mat leave and I came back to see that he has proposed a new product he would be launching himself, the design almost exactly the same as what was created by the ad agency for this huge foo ..read more
