By the time they’re adults starting to think about mortgages and loans, they’ll have a credit history and will likely benefit from having the same credit score as you have.

I don’t keep alcohol the house, but love to bake and cook. To avoid having to buy alcohol to make a favorite dinner or dessert, I use different ingredients to sub.
Common subs include using white/red vinegar for white/red wine, apple juice for brandy/whiskey, white grape juice for vodka.
A week ago, I tried to use marmite (yeast product) to sub for beer (yeast product) in chili. Specifically, one teaspoon of marmite for every cup of beer, and it turned out amazingly well.
I told a friend about this and she was dubious. She tried it, however, in a completely different recipe and reported it wo ..read more

Compose it from bottom to the top:
Add attachments first (99% of mishaps is about that)
Write mail
Write correct subject
Optional: Write address in cc
Write mail address
That's it. By composing it from the bottom it's impossible to forget anything.
LPT BONUS: Activate 20secs delay option if using Gmail

Do this every day while you get yourself adjusted to the new habit of going to the gym! It's great for figuring out where your baseline is for each part of your body and learning the ins and outs of the gym. It also makes it so much less overwhelming if you're telling yourself you will be done after just one activity. Any movement is better than none at all, and it doesn't take long to start adding in new activities to each workout :).

This one works for me really well. Close your eyes, count down very slowly (one big inhale/exhale cycle at each) from 100 backwards, and at each number say the number in your mind and try to visualise/draw the number too. Counting backwards gives you a sense that the count will end. Visualising the number avoids you from seeing other things at the same time, and saying it avoids you from having other thoughts. And breathing deeply will help you relax. You will be asleep before you hit zero.

Alright, picture this: you've got some sensitive info on a piece of paper that you need to obliterate. Instead of going full-on Picasso with a marker, try this sneaky trick: write a bunch of random letters and words over the top. It's like giving your secrets a cryptic disguise! ?️
I stumbled upon this genius idea when I was clearing out old paperwork. Rather than risk someone deciphering my crossed-out notes, I decided to camouflage them with gibberish. And let me tell you, it works like a charm! Not only does it make your scribbles look less suspicious, but it also adds a fun puzzle element ..read more

Alright, here's a pro tip for anyone who's ever had an embarrassing e-mail mishap (we've all been there): when you're drafting a professional e-mail, hold off on typing in the recipient's address until you're completely done. Trust me, it's a game-changer.
Picture this: you're in a rush, trying to craft the perfect message, and before you know it, you accidentally hit send. But wait, you realize you forgot to attach the file, or worse, you've made a typo in the recipient's address. Cue the panic!
By waiting until the end to input the recipient's e-mail, you give yourself a safety net. It's li ..read more

As said in the title, the best way to develop sustainable habits are too start off small. For example, if you wanted to include a little workout everyday you can start by doing 10 squats at a set time everyday to build the habit. Usually what I noticed with trying to start large and time intensive habits I usually stop doing it after a day or two, but when I did small actions everyday it became a lot more sustainable to maintain the habit. Once you get used to these small actions, you can keep adding to it in small increments eventually hitting your goal. But this will take a lot of time, but ..read more
