In case you missed it on Instagram, I was SO sick over the weekend! Like, on my death bed. Exactly one week ago I started feeling a tingling/itchiness in my throat, but attributed it to mild allergies (even though I really don’t suffer from those). It continued on like that for a couple of days, and then Friday night I was up all night coughing and my throat was terribly sore. I went in for a rapid strep test at my local pharmacy first thing Saturday morning, which I tested positive for, then had to get a Telehealth appointment to secure some antibiotics. I’m all about investing in high-quality basics that will last for years, as opposed to fast fashion pieces that fall apart after a few wears… but that doesn’t mean I don’t love a good steal! When it comes to denim, one label dominates my collection: AGOLDE. I love me some Khaite denim and Citizens of Humanity styles too, but in terms of the actual quantity of styles I own from various brands, the majority are by AGOLDE. And it’s not just one style in a bunch of colors, either – although I do that too! Happy Wednesday! I’m back in Austin for the next week and a half, and when I tell you summer is here, IT’S HERE. Starting tomorrow and for the foreseeable future, it’ll be in the 80s every day! While I do enjoy warmer weather (more time at the pool!), it’s just a reminder that even hotter temps are coming to Texas very soon. You’ve heard me rave on and on about Khaite’s elite denim collection, but this small Sara tote was another item I’d been lusting after for months! I first saw the larger Sara style in store, and loved how the silhouette almost molded to your body when worn over the shoulder. I don’t know about you, but my week got off to an absolutely amazing start! I can’t pinpoint any particular reason why, but I had one of the best Mondays I’ve ever had. Unless I’m in a bikini by the pool or on a beach, I’m generally not one to show off my midriff. With that said, I’m all for a waist-skimming style I can pair with high rise bottoms!
