We went with Dad to our traditional Mt Hood turkey day adventure: this time we hiked the Salmon River Trail which had a swollen fast river, and found some geocaches, then went for fun and Thanksgiving dinner and overnight at the Mazama Lodge.  It rained on Thursday but snowed that night and we drove up above the clouds to Timberline Lodge to play in the snow on Friday.   Click to see 20 pics and short videos ..read more
