How do you react when other people play your game and stream it, or record a video about it? Obviously, if everything goes smoothly, then it is an amazing achievement. Recently, a streamer played my game and he hadn't figured out that in two game modes, he can jump, and obviously, he immediately started to complain about it. Even though, the first time you open the level, there is a pop-up that explains what you are supposed to do and what the controls are. Just watched a yt video where someone described his really ambitious dream game. Not with the intention to make it, just to dream, so completly valid. Even realizing that this would be a huge budget and time investment. But then there were a lot of comments saying: Oh we just wait for AI and let it do the heavy lifting. My personal take on this is, that AI is a tool which can make the process more efficient, but not a "creator". So we will kinda see the generic "blur" you also get from proceduraly generating landscapes / textures / dialogs we already know from some games. What is your take on ..read more
