Connor’s Erg x Stomping Ground Challenge

On Sunday, February 18 at Morris Moore Moorabbin, 90 participants in 15 teams rowed their hearts out for kids with brain cancer in our inaugural Stomping Ground x Connor’s Erg Challenge. Teams had 120 minutes to collectively row as far as possible for the 120 children under 12 diagnosed with brain cancer in Australia each year. RCD Ambassador and gold medallist Olympic Rower James Tomkins joined the fray, lending his strength and enthusiasm to the One Fitness Brighton team. On Wednesday February 8, we were thrilled to announce we have partnered with The University of Queensland, committing $1.2 million to develop a brain cancer vaccine. With in-kind support from the University and a total project investment of approximately $2.4 million over a three year period, it is the first of its kind to apply technology to treat paediatric brain cancer.
