Today we are making a simple thank you card that is also super cute! It's been so much fun to grab random stamping supplies and just go to town with creating, and today's project is exactly that. I love big sentiments. Always have and I feel like I always will. You can make stunning cards in no time at all, with just a few other touches. Today's project has a giant sentiment, ink, a die cut frame, and a couple of accessories – that's all! And, because I love you all more than I love my sock drawer – which is A LOT! – I made you a video to go along with it. The Project Here's our cute project ..read more

Are Bright Colors Your Thing Too?
I Teach Stamping

Bright colors are my favorite. Hands down, these are my favorite colors to work with! So when I get to use bold images in those bright colors, stand back – because there's something good coming! Today's card uses bright colors, bold images, sweet patterned paper – and stamping on the patterned paper. And another favorite thing about this card… I made it in under 5 minutes! Not kidding on that part one single bit. I used three ink pads, white card stock, one piece of patterned paper and some rhinestones. Easy AND adorable, what more could a stamper ask for? I LOVE the vibrancy of these colors ..read more

Have You Ever Made A Card For Yourself?
I Teach Stamping
by Megan Daves

Have you ever done it? Most stampers will say no. We make a lot to give, a lot for our stash, but to create one specifically for ourselves? That's not a thing. But I'm hoping to make it a thing!! I'm not big on journaling. I'm great at starting to journal, but I'm not consistent with it. What I do though is make a card for myself to mark milestones, achievements, days of feeling low, words of encouragement, and more. Right now, I'm starting in on a new big adventure with my crafting. So it's a perfect time for me to make myself a card. On the inside, I captured my feelings of excitement about ..read more

Simply Inked Card

I LOVE a great cover plate die. Many times you order them and they aren't the right size or proportion. But when they are right, they are right!!! I love them because you can make such amazing looking cards without much work at all. You look like a card making rockstar, with just ink and some card stock. And that's a total win in my books. Today's card uses some bright and vibrant colors of ink and a simple sentiment, finished with coordinating sequins. Intrigued? I hope so! Playing With New Inks Playing with new inks has been so much fun. It's completely crazy the power of colors! A new color ..read more

Picking Friends Is So Important!

My favorite friendships are the ones that endure during periods of absence. You know that friend that you haven't talked to in years, but you get on the phone with her, and you are able to pick right back up where you left off? You catch up on what the family is doing, what they've been doing, and it just feels right? That's how my phone call went with Catherine a few weeks ago. We used to talk every day, roomed together, vacationed together with our hubbies, all the things. And then life got busy and we were busy doing our own things. About 10 days after our phone call, my first package with ..read more

Cutest Cows – Finally Using the Cow!
I Teach Stamping

The Cutest Cow bundle is so much fun to use, and today I am finally sharing a project that uses the cow image instead of the flowers. But that's probably what I like most about this bundle is that you can use it for way more than just the cows. Take a look at what all is in it: I've shared this project and this project using the big flowers. And today is the day that I share a cow card! It's So Easy To Use I think I put off using the cow images due to thinking it would take longer than it does. And I don't know why. It doesn't appear that way in looking at the stamps, but I think that's why I ..read more

Fun Masculine Birthday Card

This bundle cracks me up! Normally I am not a chicken/rooster card, but the more I looked at the Hey Chuck bundle, the more it just made me laugh. I am all for laughter. Anyone else? Let me share this bundle with you and then I will point out what I saw. I always liked the little fence with this card. I love how it has a die cut with it if you get the bundle. You can use that for so many cards. In the stamp set, there are 11 images and only 4 are of the poultry nature. And that skateboard, you can easily use tat as a plant stand for all your plant images. It can hold moving boxes like a furni ..read more

What do you get when you cross a cow stamp set with a telephone stamp set? An awesome card!!! It all came together so well for a Mystery Stamping event we did in Stamping Family. This was the card at the end. Everyone that participated that day made such beautiful cards! Even Jen liked hers (which is a 50/50 kinda thing!) If you haven't ever done Mystery Stamping, you should join us! We do these about every 6 weeks, it's a family favorite! Before we get to the card, let's talk about this patterned paper…. It's a funny story, one of too much paper – can you relate? First, let me show you the pa ..read more
