Jury Verdict in Favor of Woman Infected with Herpes The Law Offices of Jeffrey Lichtman recently prevailed at a jury trial in Richmond County (Staten Island) Supreme Court on a claim of intentional battery.  In this trial, it was proven that our client was infected with HSV Type 2 (genital herpes). I finally got around to watching the acclaimed true-story legal drama, Just Mercy, which highlights the work of attorney Bryan Stevenson and his Equal Justice Initiative, a nonprofit organization that provides legal representation to inmates who have been wrongfully convicted or sentenced.
