When it comes to a small space you have to get creative. My friends asked me to update this space in their house that was formerly a mudroom/catch-all space at the entry of their home. They do a lot of entertaining and wanted to have a DIY wet bar and wine rack instead. I was here for it and so happy to help them bring their vision to life!
This build did require a sink install so I got to bring my trusty partner in crime, my dad, who is a licensed plumber, and who was willing to get the job done. We were able to knock out this build and really bring the space to the next level. There were som ..read more

Get ready for backyard fun with this easy to make yard game. Learn how to make your own DIY ladder golf game in just one day with basic tools.
I have never personally played this game, but I have seen it played and made a couple of different ways.
You can make it with two ladders so that each team has its own ladder, or you you can make it with just one ladder and both teams toss the golf balls onto the same ladder.
Since our backyard is kind of small, I'm going with the one ladder version and I'm using plans from Home Depot's website.

It’s officially been one year since I started the garage makeover of my dreams that was supposed to take two months to complete…but here we are! 12 years ago I started out in the corner of my dad’s storage shed, later upgraded to a 12x12 shed that my dad and I built together and now I finally have a one and a half car garage where I have the room to really dive into my projects - including a custom outfeed table for my new table saw!
Getting Rid of My Jobsite Table Saw
For about a decade now I’ve been consistently using jobsite saws or compact saws in my workshop, simply because I didn’t have ..read more

Recently my grandma moved in with my parents and I wanted to make a space that felt calm and cozy for her. She’s taking over my little brother Jordan’s old room so it had to be a full transformation, in only 3 days. It was so very worth it for this special lady who has taught me so much about creativity and art. So if you’re in need of a quick bedroom makeover with a really tight timeline, this might just be the project for you!
3 Days to Moving Day

Sometimes the best organization tip is to make custom storage for the clutter and close the door. I have an A/C unit and a radiator in my office that are eye sores, so we decided to make a slatted radiator cover using a fun IKEA Hack so they can still function but aren’t the only thing you see when you look at this wall.
A Sam Special
We’re taking an Ikea cabinet, and customizing it as well as building the an aesthetic solution to my heating and cooling units.

Springtime on Long Island means it's time to get outside, and what’s better than a weekend project to upgrade your yard game? You all know that because I was a side hustler for so long I love something that can be accomplished in just a weekend and this easy smokeless fire pit project was so quick to pull together while still having a high return on design and functionality.
S’mores anyone?
I wanted this side area next to my garage shop to be a fun hangout spot for a fire pit and of course, who doesn’t like s’mores? So I got some asymmetrical pavers, a new fire pit, added some lighting and se ..read more

When we moved into our new house, it came with an outdoor shower, but I removed it while renovating our deck. So, let’s add the outdoor shower back in (or, well, out)! It's a quick and easy project you can do in a weekend!
We've done a lot of outdoor projects since buying our little cape cod. The DIY Deck Makeover, the Floating Deck + Grill Station (In One Weekend)!, Easy Storage Shed Upgrades , and our Modern Raised Planter. That's a lot of projects, whew! But I feel like it's our outdoor space now.
Now, it's finally time to add back the outdoor shower. Truthfully, I know I should have done ..read more
