Report: Kraken Energy — Exploring for Uranium in the United States
Caesars Report

Download PDF ↓ The uranium price has performed very well in the past odd year and after a few ‘false’ breakouts in the past decade on the uranium equities front, it looks like reality has set in. The excess inventories of physical uranium of the past decade is dwindling fast, not in the least because ETFs and uranium holdco’s like Yellow Cake have been acquiring physical uranium in anticipation of a price increase. As the Sprott Uranium Physical Uranium ETF and Yellow Cake currently own approximately 84 million pounds of physical uranium, the supply/demand ratio has been distorted as not all ..read more

Tinka Resources (TK.V) has released the outcome of an updated Preliminary Economic Assessment on its flagship Ayawilca zinc project in Peru. The mine plan envisages a 2 million tonnes per year silver-zinc-lead operation over 21 years with a tin kicker based on a 15 year mine life at 0.3 million tonnes per year. This should result in an annual metal production (the press release doesn’t mention if this is the payable output but we would like to assume so given the provided details on which concentrate the silver ends up in) of 200M pounds of zinc, 1,500 tonnes of tin and just over half a milli ..read more

The company ended the year on a strong note with a total gold production of almost 95,000 ounces in the final quarter of the year, which pushed the full-year output to just under 344,000 ounces of gold. Sylvania Platinum (SLP.L) has released an updated resource estimate for its Volspruit project in South Africa, which is located on the northern limb of the Bushveld complex. This updated resource contains a 10% larger resource compared to the 2022 update, while the average grade is higher as well. That being said, there now no longer is a measured resource category as Sylvania had to downgrade the 2022 measured resource to the indicated category due to short-range variability between the drill holes. Volspruit North now contains a total of 17.6 million tonnes (with 90% of the tonnage in the ..read more

Aztec Minerals reports final assay results at Cervantes
Caesars Report

Aztec Minerals (AZT.V) had already released the assay results for the gold at its Cervantes project in Mexico’s Sonora state but has now followed up on that by also releasing the gold and silver grades. While the table doesn’t indicate at what depth the copper and silver mineralization is encountered, there certainly are some interesting intervals with for instance 24 meters of 0.1% copper in hole CAL23-042  and an interval of 1.5 meters containing almost 1 ounce of silver in hole CAL23-038. Nor the silver nor the copper will likely move the needle for the project (just as a theoretical ..read more

Azimut Exploration releases more high-grade lithium  drill results
Caesars Report

Azimut Exploration (AZM.V) has released more assay results from its Galinee lithium property in the James Bay region of Quebec where it completed a 5,000 meter maiden drill program last year. And it is remarkable to see the intervals Azimut is able to pull out of the ground at Galinee. Several holes intersected lithium values exceeding 1.5% with one eye-catching result containing 5.13% Li2O over 6 meters while drilling a lower grade (but still excellent for lithium) 2.13% Li2O over a total length of 44 meters also clearly adds tonnage ànd material. The main purpose of the drill program was t ..read more

Report: Understanding Contact Gold’s Acquisition by Orla Mining
Caesars Report

↓ Download PDF Last week, Contact Gold (C.V) announced it is selling itself to Orla Mining (OLA.TO, ORLA), the most logical acquiror given Orla’s development-stage Railroad project right next to Contact Gold’s resource-stage Pony Creek exploration project. The transaction appears to be the only viable solution to avoid wiping out Contact’s shareholders through what would no doubt be financings the resulted in the issuance of tens of millions of new shares. Fortunately, Orla will be paying in stock which means Contact Gold shareholders gain exposure to a gold producer that will produce 1 ..read more
