Hello friends. How are you? This past weekend marked the unofficial start of summer and the weather has not disappoint. We’ve been getting the backyard ready and I made this adorable little fountain using a solar pump. It was so easy to put together and it’s such a beautiful addition to the yard. I’m so impressed with these solar powered products. Start by placing a pot upside down in the center of a large pot. Pour some potting soil and the bottom and decide where you will position your plants.  Plant you plants all around the large pot.  Place a smaller bowl in the centre on ..read more

Hi friends. Happy St.Patty’s Day. Though I’ve never understood the fascination with St Patrick’s day, I do enjoy seeing people dress in green and go out to ‘celebrate’. Speaking of St.Patrick’s Day, a few years ago, my sister did a DNA test and it turns out we’re about 14% Irish. I found it so interesting. But I digress, today I want to share with you this pretty Blue Hyacinth Spring Flower Arrangement in a Blue Bowl.  I love putting together these ‘live’ arrangements. They’re so easy and you can use any vessel. You just have to use some sort of liner so it doesn’t get damaged.  Y ..read more

Hello friends. Happy Thursday. I’m excited to join my friends and share with you some pretty spring wreaths. I will be making a spring wreath using Magnolias from The Dollar Tree. I also used an old grapevine wreath so it was very budget friendly. Like I mentioned before, I purchased these magnolias from The Dollar Tree. They don’t look as great when they’re in a bunch… But once you remove them from the stem and place them individually, they look great!  I got this stem from The Dollar Store and it’s also so pretty. I placed it first on the wreath. I then started to place the indivi ..read more
