How much would you charge for this?

I’m the worst at pricing. How do you price things? I usually just base prices on what I deem fit, but I always feel like I’m overcharging. I don’t maths. I made these for my most regular customer, whom is also a family friend so I usually give her a little bit of a discount. Do you give out family/friends/frequent flyers a discount? If so, how much? And thank you to everyone who helped me come up with ideas for this! submitted by /u/hurtswhenip666 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Newbie decorator - Easter cookies

I made "watercolor" cookies - I got the idea from SweetAmbs after I saw her video on Facebook. I'm pretty new to this (purely as a hobby, I'm not selling them or anything) so the outlines are a little funky. Still, this design was really fun! submitted by /u/ekgobi [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Recently went to a fundraising event and had a couple people ask me about making decorated cookies without eggs. Does anyone have a good recipe for a cookie that will hold up to being decorated? Thanks! submitted by /u/VanlyP23 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I am looking for some custom cookie ideas I could give a baker. My good friend is turning 38 this year. She had her children young and they will be out of the house this year. She has expressed that this is a milestone year, in her mind. She is such an amazing mom, and being an empty-nester at 38 is very bittersweet. I am hoping to get some cookies made for her but am really stuck on a theme for this that encapsulates the significance of this year for her. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!! submitted by /u/Assiagopeniscorn [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Does anyone have any advice or anything about iced or glazed cookies? Everything we bring them they melt and we keep the others in the cooler but i personally feel “icky” when i serve them the ones that are cold ( we rotate them ) and the melting ones tend to be a bit messy & it irritates me. Like how does the store bought ones stay stable and don’t melt? Am i doing something wrong? Apart from that we drizzle out cookies and crème cookies in white chocolate how am i display those without them also lowkey melting submitted by /u/knoodle26 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
