I have such a wide array of techs. I have techs I’d trust to do my job, and techs who can do their job but have no knowledge of eyes. I work in an OD/MD practice. I frequently find that my better techs are reliable but some techs take longer and should be rechecked (angles, refractions, pressures) I’ve come to just have a better tech recheck (if there’s an error my better tech is better at finding it than me). I work for a mobile clinic and we use the Volk Pictor Prestige Fundus Camera. The Camera is usually plugged in overnight and over the weekend. Today upon arriving to clinic we noticed that the handle was Bowed out and the rubber was not connected in one spot. The camera would not stay on and the files connected to the computer are strange symbols and seems to be corrupted. Unsure if it overheated or if there is a way to fix this. I’ve been able to piece together something from a couple threads on ODs on Finance, but does anyone have the actual full story? Did some people really lose their life savings/$1 million plus? Were ODs on Finance mods really censoring/shadowbanning skeptical comments as “negativity” while having a personal financial interest?
