« A new generation of freestyle kayak. Guillaume and the GuiGui pro team have been hard at work refining their latest freestyle design, with an injection of enthusiasm from Pyranha, who will bring the design to life in plastic. Rather than being designed for whichever type of feature is hot that year, this boat is designed to excel on both waves and holes, whether you’re trying to one-up your friends for fun or competition. »

Sascha Brigl paddles the Reinz Gorge frequently but even the rivers you know best can still give you a beatdown…
« A small change on the rapid Putzerholes on the Rienz Gorge happened! I messed up the line by just a few centimetres. Normally you push a little more right with angle of the boat on the left site (big right boof). This rapid with this water level is the worst! With less water, the hole, where I got stuck is not so big. With more water it will flush you out straight away. Sometimes you go down nicely high and dry and sometimes it destroys you badly… like this time »

Follow Isaac Hull down the intimidating first rapid of the Tumwater Canyon, you can get lost in there pretty easily…
« The first main rapid of Tumwater Canyon, ‘The Wall’ is a puzzle that has bested many paddlers. Nearly a mile long, the rapid has numerous cruxes that may seem obvious when scouting from shore. Once you drop in the waves are blinding and the first few times I ran the rapid I completely mistimed the cruxes. This lap I had the timing dialed but my stern caught and sent me into this monster. No swim zone for sure. »
