Is there a Reddit group specifically for juice cleanses?

I love this group. I know it’s just for all things juice. When I tried to search juice cleanse or fasting groups I did not see them so I’m wondering if there’s something I’m not looking up that you all know about? submitted by /u/plantpotions [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I’m new to juicing (brand new lol) and am using it as a way to mix up how I eat my veggies rather than as a part of a specific diet or anything. Today I took the pulp from cucumber juice and made tzatziki with it!! I also added a bit of carrot pulp because I didn’t have enough cucumber. So basically a delish dill-veggie-yogurt dip. Any other fun recipes to use the pulp? Thanks in advance! submitted by /u/Comprehensive_Key897 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Help! My Nama J1 juicer is stuck closed! The black feeding lid that you twist on will not twist off! Does anybody have any tips to get it open? I am using all my strength, but that isn’t doing anything.

Please help! This has happened before and is more common when I make celery juice. I’ve been able to get it open or have my husband open it but he is not available and I have more juiced to make. Any tips? submitted by /u/plantpotions [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I have the Nama J1 juicer. Is upgrading the J2 really worth it?

Hello, I’d love to get the J2, but it is spendy! I love juicing but the thing that deters me from doing a longer Juice fast is the amount of work/time juicing takes. The prepping, juicing, cleaning etc. My juicer works great, just wondering before I spend $500 on a J2 if the upgrade is really worth it? Does it REALLY save a lot of time & effort when making juice, or is it just a little more convenient? Anyone go from a Nama j1 to j2 have feedback? Thank you! submitted by /u/plantpotions [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Can I drink my Nama 2 juice the day before a colonoscopy?

Okay, juicing peeps, I'm curious if anyone has had express approval from their MD to drink their juice the day before a colonoscopy? I'm *NOT* asking for medical advice, but looking for life experience input. My written instructions say "clear liquid diet", that I may not drink any beverage I cannot see through, BUT it also says I can drink strained citrus juices, and last I checked you can't see through those. Also, I'm allowed sugar, honey, jelly, and syrup, so go figure. I'd really rather not drink store bought apple juice, although the kid in me is kinda' excited to have permission to dri ..read more

Would a new basket filter help with performance?

I bought the Sage Nutri Juicer (BJE41OUK) in 2019. It has been great. But the performance is no longer good. I can see a lot of the veggies/fruits goes un-juiced. The leftovers in the bin are very wet. I have a smaller quantity of for the same amount of vegetables than before. Would replacing the basket filter (£50) help with performance? Or should I get a new juicer? submitted by /u/Legitimate-Cherry755 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Anyone know if you can take the finish off while juicing?

I have a Hurom slow press juicer and I just finished juicing and noticed some weird blue areas on some parts. Looks like the black finish rubbed off or something and warbled it like it was under too much pressure or something. Anyone have this happen or know if I shouldn't drink the juice?
