The rain may have poured on the evening in Shanghai, but Balenciaga Creative Director Demna ensured the fashion world was well-hydrated with another intrepid Balenciaga chapter. Held outdoors at the iconic Pudong Art Museum, the Spring 2025 collection was a potent blend of Demna’s signature subversion and a newfound, almost optimistic, glamour. The towering skyscrapers of Pudong, a vision of modern China, mirrored the razor-sharp silhouettes that dominated the runway. Elongated coats and jackets, their shoulders reaching for the heavens, seemed to channel the city’s vertical energy. This wasn ..read more

Josh O’Connor is serving his best off the court

An English rose with a presence warmer than the Australian sun, seemingly far from his character Patrick in Challengers, we can’t help but find him utterly charismatic. Not only he, but his style has captured out attention. Walking the red carpets for his most recent film premieres of La Chimera and Challengers, O’Connor most commonly will be adorned in an elegant adoption of a suit and tie- Loewe of course as the houses global ambassador. But what we’re loving even more on him, is a sweater. On or off the red carpet a knitted piece, whether it be a vest or a sweater ..read more

It’s been a long and cold night since the last time the iconic American fashion house of Calvin Klein had themselves a fearless leader – but today, that era ends. Now, if you’re a fashion aficionado, you might recognise Leoni’s name. She’s certainly no newcomer to the industry, but this is definitively her biggest role to date. Will she sink, or will she swim? And more importantly, what will it all look like? Calvin Klein haven’t ha ..read more

As we lean into the colder months, and the extra layering that comes with it, we’re looking to Kim Jones’ Dior Men collection from the pages of our May ‘Ideas’ issue to be our guiding light. Jones’ Fall 2024 collection is a lesson in contemporary outerwear, taking classic garments and reimagining their silhouettes. Oversized, boxy, louche and sophisticated – it’s all a part of his perfectly eclectic balance of futurism and nostalgia. Model Salvatore Aljaidi dons the collection for the pages of our May ‘Ideas’ issue in a series of portraits that show the garments in their muted and understated ..read more

Over the last few decades, Oasis has transcended being more than simply a band, to become something more akin to a myth. Their leading duo – now-estranged brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher – haven’t been seen together since the band’s breaking up in 2009, but while we hope and pray and manifest a reunion in time for the 30th anniversary of their formative record Definitely Maybe this August, we’ll be reminiscing on their 90s fashion sense as part of the pioneering Cool Britannia set. Donning plenty of parkas, leather bombers, infamously shrunken denim jackets and wind breakers – both ..read more
