Artist Spotlight: Jane “My name is Jane, I am 57 years old. . . I have an interest in past human activity, natural science, and the history of visual communication. Using microscopy I photograph what I find outside in nature: pieces of bone, coal, wood, metal, and other organic materials. I also carve human figures of archaic man out of wood. . . I have carved wood since [I was] in my 20s. I st ..read more

I attended a special public school and over a two-year period, my speech was restored. My parents did not treat me any di ..read more
