Today I wanted to share with you four places I get great writing advice. As you may have realised I’m a bit of a lone ranger when it comes to writing. I don’t have a Real Life writers group. I lean on, and into, writing forums online (hello WritersHQ) and use Twitter a lot for writing help and community. The writers below are all down to earth and so generous with their knowledge and experience. If you are looking for some motivation and/or inspiration then do take a look at the following;   Will Dean on YouTube. He has a massive cat and a growing puppy. Further to my other posts on changing URL, and rebranding, I thought I’d share some resources I found helpful and steps I took before I took the plunge, and after the change. Previous posts; How to Rebrand a Blog (and why I wanted to) An Update on Changing my URL/Name In the above two posts, you can read about why I wanted to rebrand (debrand) but changing your URL isn’t something you can do on a whim. So, because I’m big on lifting the veil here you ..read more

I was tired of the name and the connotations of the phrase, “old fashioned”. At a time when the #MeToo movement was gaining momentum, it felt even more wrong, I had been stewing over a name change for about two years before I actually did it. Working within the interiors niche wasn’t exciting me any more either. I was beginning to fin ..read more

This post features gifted items (pillows). We are way past the point of arguing if Global Warming is a fact. We are way past being able to ignore the plastic bottles whose number is swelling in our seas. We have to question everything. And I know it is hard. I know that changes are easier […]The post Sustainable Changes for the Environment appeared first on Susan Earlam - Creative Lifestyle & Home ..read more

Hello! How are you? I’ve had a bit of an extended break from the blog, the kids have been off school and Easter in the sunshine means I’ve sort of forgotten what I do… So, I’m easing myself in with a very short and sweet (hopefully) blog post.
