The Ice Hotel (Hôtel de Glace) is a must-see in Quebec City. Even if you can’t secure a night’s stay, it is worth it to tour the hotel and church, ride down the slide, and get an ice drink. The Ice Hotel Tour Experience The only ice hotel in North America, made with 35,000 tons of snow and 2400 blocks of ice, can be toured from 10 am-8 pm. Dawson City is a super unique, quirky, and fun town! We pulled in at about 7 pm on our road trip to Alaska and headed to check into our campground which was right in the city – which meant we could walk to anywhere we wanted to go in the city. We made dinner and headed out to the Ice Cream shop. The shop closed at 9 pm, and we barely made it in time. The kids enjoyed their ice cream while we looked over the Yukon River.
