I was going to take this summer off to regroup, work on the house, and do my COVID telecommuting as well. I've taken up a part time job as a senior CAD Engineer at Vision Engineering to supplement our crazy existence her on the rancho. Turns out my Mom n Pop propane company was taken over by a Big Bucks company that charges for everything. Removing the tank and paying to have the propane pumped out (???) costs more than buying clay and using it up... Anyone that knows us has a pretty good idea as to what our year has been like as a family. If not, I won't go into details but suffice to say it hasn't been a year of creative inspiration or productivity. That said, I was able to go out to the studio if not for therapy, then at least as a distraction. I've made several dozen popular items or Bloom Ranch (in Acton) and for friends just in case.
