Hazel Irvine, who has presented snooker on the BBC for more than 20 years, has been made an MBE in the New Year Honours list for 2024 for services to sport and to charity. This month’s BetVictor Scottish Open achieved outstanding viewing figures on UK Eurosport, with the average audience for the event up 64% compared to 2022.
