This was a really great article that I found online yesterday in the Metro newspaper. The current world number 43 talks very openly about a career that started back in the mid-90's and has seen him reach two ranking finals and maintain a steady ranking inside the worlds top 50. His biggest disappointment so far being those two ranking defeats and never reaching the top 16. World number one Reanne Evans has won the inaugural Women’s Tour Championship title at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield. The event saw the world’s top four ranked players Evans, Ng On Yee, Rebecca Kenna and Nutcharut Wongharuthai take to the baize as women’s snooker returned to the home of the snooker for the first time since 2003. The Australian Women’s Snooker Open will return to Sydney from 17-20 October 2019 following its successful first staging last season. Organised by the Australian Billiards and Snooker Council (ABSC) and World Women’s Snooker (WWS), the event will again be staged at the Mt Pritchard District and Community Club, known as ‘Mounties’ in the western suburbs of Sydney, Australia. England’s Reanne Evans has won the World Women’s Snooker Championship for a record-extending 12th time following a 6-3 victory against Thailand’s Nutcharut Wongharuthai in Bangkok this evening.
