As companies and creators consider launching or evolving their podcast, they wonder: Do podcasts have video? If nothing else, it’s something worth considering, but it’s also a topic hotly debated.
As someone who has been podcasting for years, I’ve seen the landscape change dramatically. From the early days of audio-only recordings to the current trend of incorporating video, it’s clear that the medium is undergoing a significant transformation.
Traditionally, podcasts have been an audio-only affair. The format was straightforward: one or more people would gather in a studio or online, record t ..read more

Do smart TVs have YouTube? Which YouTube? There are now several versions of YouTube that each have their own apps:
YouTube TV, which is traditional TV channels streamed and recorded.
The original YouTube where you can watch creator and brand videos and “The Business Storytelling Show.”
Regardless, with the wide variety of smart TVs out there and the exploding streaming services landscape, it’s important to buy a smart TV that allows you to watch what you want to watch.
In general, most smart TVs now have App Stores – just like the iPhone – so YouTube and YouTube TV all should be in the ..read more

YouTube quickly let me know that my YouTube video of the construction of my new home was now partially blocked. But what does partially blocked mean on YouTube?
Here’s the definition and while we are at it, let’s see what happened.
First of all, I created a video – a slideshow with sound really – on my Instagram account. It used Beyonce’s “Texas Hold ‘Em” song for the sound. So far, so good. I picked the song right there from the Instagram Reels library. Then I figured I would also post it as a YouTube Short.
And then as soon as I downloaded the video and then uploaded it onto YouTube, YouTube ..read more

I don’t get it when companies can’t read OBVIOUS buying signals. Not the ones that are super subtle, but the ones that scream: I’m getting close to buying THIS – the thing YOU sell. Tell me more. Tell me more. Maybe those companies don’t know the answer to what are customer buying signals? Maybe.
Often, those companies do tell me more, but it’s about something totally unrelated. Something that is currently being pushed by the bossy bosses but has no relevance to me – the excited buyer for a completely different product.
Weird. Listen. And sell what you offer that the buyer actually wants.

In this short video, I discuss my thoughts on writing subject lines and how long it should take to write them.
I discuss:
Subject lines are crucial for emails, and writing email subject lines deserves significant time and attention. Even the best email content won’t be read if the subject line is poor.
Preheader text is also important and should be crafted thoughtfully.
There are various tools available to help generate and grade subject lines, but human creativity is still valuable.
Open rates have become less reliable due to privacy policies and email programs that automatically open email ..read more

I shared how AI and humans can get the most out of content performance. Now, let’s look at some of the best AI tools for content creators. Best – as always – is certainly my opinion.
Claude AI
It’s kind of like ChatGPT, but I found it more useful early on in the AI content evolution. You can now also transcribe handwritten notes in Claude, analyze images, and use it to brainstorm content ideas, update drafts, and more.
Grammarly
A fantastic AI-powered tool to check my grammar and tone and ensure no accidental plagiarism happens. Every week it sends me an overview of the number of words analyz ..read more

AI content creation can help us create better content if we use it correctly. In reality, many content teams already use AI anyway. But, there are several levels of AI content creation, or should I call it AI-assisted content creation? I’ll discuss those in this article.
As Tech Influencer Evan Kirstel said on “The Business Storytelling Show,” there will be winners and losers in the AI content creation game, but trying the technology early on its lifecycle is essential.
In this article, I discuss the following:
What is AI content creation?
The AI reviews content
AI improves content

Human vs. AI writing certainly can be the debate, and when we put them completely into buckets, we might think about specific positives and negatives. But what if it’s not about one versus the other, but determining which aspects are best for your corporate storytelling?
The biggest difference that some people seem to put value on is speed. Humans obviously can’t write content as fast as AI. But just because AI can spit out content faster, doesn’t mean it’s going to be any good. On the flip side, human content isn’t good just because it’s written by humans.

Who has time for internet issues while working at home? Not me. So I looked into what might be the easiest backup internet for home solution.
How does it work?
At the most basic level: When we work at home, many use a WiFi setup that comes in through a cable from an internet company. If that ever goes out for any reason, a backup system would switch on and still provide some level of internet service to the home.
