So my yard is exactly 23' wide so the ramp cannot be longer than that. The deck will be exactly 4' off the ground so the height of the ramp is technically 3'8.6" high given that the base is a 3.5" high (width of a 2x4). I went with a 6'7" transition radius. I hate when ramps are too mellow so I didn't want to go with a 7' but it's also a casual home-ramp so I didn't want to make it too hard to skate. Still want to be able to do lipslides, smiths, and tailslides and stuff without too much wheel drag. Typically, people put like 8' of flat bottom in the ramp.
