It was a long journey back, but he’s been on the other side now for so long that it’s easy to forget the dark days. Let John be your inspiration if you’re fighting back from an injury. He recently completed a 65-mile backpacking trek as part of his high school TEAM program, a super-cool option in the Tam High District incorporating outdoor education in a big way.
