The inspiration for Mari French’s energetic, yet intimate artworks range from the wild expanse of the Norfolk saltmarsh coast, to the dramatic ruins of a Cornish tin mine. Many of her artworks are inspired by the wild expanse of the north Norfolk salt marsh coast: the wind in the reeds, scribbled prints of waders on the sandbanks, light-filled marsh pools and the calls of geese.
