For anyone interested in breaking into business intelligence and overwhelmed by all the information out there, I’m hosting a free online workshop on Saturday, May 4th 12pm EDT to talk about the roadmap to stand out in today's competitive job market (link in my Reddit bio). As a former business intelligence analyst who eventually became a hiring manager and data director, I see so many aspiring analysts focus on building projects that have no company relevance, send resumes that don't resonate with hiring managers, have no idea what to expect in interviews, and eventually feel frustrated, disc ..read more

Sure, here's the translation of your question into English: I have a company with my business partner, and we recently shifted from the fitness sector to consultancy. We both invested around 7-9k in fitness, but I invested significantly more time because I was involved in that sector before he joined the company. I still want to be involved in fitness and am in the process of setting up the right people like a VA and SDR and closer to handle certain tasks. my business partner, says he wants me to run this under our company, instead of separately (even though I'm doing all the work). And there ..read more

Stakeholder asks for more complex work each time but when it comes time for feedback...

They only comment on the size of column/row/chart, etc. and then spend the whole time adjusting them. Want to move this box to the left, that box to the right, or up, or down, then back where they were. Change wording here and there. But I always used their template or wording or what we agreed on to begin with, so in a way they criticize their own design and wording. Then either ask why something is the way it is when it's their own design or their own change. I'm not sure what's going on here, I feel like all the comments are irrelevant and inane, then they ask for more complex analysis and ..read more

I am working as a data engineer for a consulting firm and my personal background is in spatial data management and analysis. For our current client in the infrastructure sector I need to create a data management strategy that basically includes the whole space of data management, starting from the question "Which data model do we require from the construction firms about the planning of the infrastructure and the state of construction?" over questions like "Where do the construction companies upload their csv files?" to "Where do we visualize all the data and who can see which data point?"
