ING and INK sounds

I know that the vowel in the "ING" ending is pronounced more like the EE as in seat, and I know that in the word "thinking" both vowels are pronounced with the same EE sound but I don't remember if for the "INK" sound happens the same that with the "ING" sound. I was looking up a few pronunciations of words to remember this but I couldn't remember, for example. Sink - is pronounced with the IH as in sit. Think - is pronounced with the EE as in seat. Can you explain it to me? They both have the "INK" sound submitted by /u/Anthony2580 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

US officials are reportedly worried that the latest package of US military aid to Ukraine may not be enough for Ukraine to regain all of its territory. US military assistance is only part of what Ukraine currently needs, moreover; but Ukraine is itself working to address other war fighting requirements — primarily manpower challenges and the expansion of its defense industrial base (DIB).
