Or metaphor,
for a person who tries to hurt another but ends up hurting themselves? Especially focused on a judgmental person.
Thanks!

Finding the right term for someone who is a white collar worker with traditionally blue collar hobbies/lifestyle has been a hotly contested debate for a while between wife and I. Figured we’d take it Reddit to get opinions.
For context in terms of what spurred this debate I have a doctoral degree in pharmaceuticals and work from home behind a desk. So I’m looking for a word that means to deny your mutual love for someone. And I don’t mean to be in denial about it they fully accept it but still deny going into a relationship with the person they love? Im thinking about writing a story with this premise so if a word that describes this exists would be awesome!

Is there a word for when you act or speak like someone or some group but with the intention of mocking that someone or group? I'll give an example, if someone is acting like a conspiracy theorist for example, to mock conspiracy theorists. Does doing that have a name?
