Hello, my students are doing an antibiotic resistance lab with non pathogenic E. coli. The sensi-discs being used are Bacitracin, Penicillin, Sulfamethoxazole Trimethoprim, and control paper. Many are seeing a change around the control paper disc where the streaked colonies become puffy and opaque white. I caught this fella from my mobile phone. It’s a standard agar. I collected samples for the microbiology lab and found this.
