I visited Salem in 2023 for Halloween and a couple of days prior. The negatives are some graves were destroyed or damaged from people reenacting Hocus Pocus Scenes and there were problems with the small alcohol bottles being thrown everywhere. Please be respectful when visiting somewhere. I loved Salem. So many Halloween shops and restaurants with Halloween themes. If you love Halloween you will enjoy Salem. The memorial to the witch trial victims is nice. My tips are be patient, lines are long, carry snacks. Sometimes it can take an hour or more to get seated due to high demand.
