Had a great trip to NH last weekend on my new bike. 300 miles down, 3 nights in the tent, and at night it was about 31deg. Would have preferred it to have been a bit warmer but it was a blast.

900 amazing miles of backcountry and mountain roads of Georgia, North Carolina, and Alabama. This was a really great trip. A total of 12 water crossing and some crazy 2 track. This was the perfect mix of fun, crazy, and exhilarating.

Distance from D.C. to Georgetown, Maine: ~650 miles. We'll split that over the two days, getting on the road by 6:30 am both days and settling in before the sun sets.
Here is where I need some help: I am new to the North East, so I'm unfamiliar with good motorcycle routes to take heading up this way. We will avoid interstates entirely (for obvious reasons ..read more

Wild camping at Muley point, near the top of the Moki Dugway. Wind blew all night, sand, sand and more sand.
