Recap – We had a major tire blowout on I-75 in Florida on our way back to Georgia. I spent the night at Camping World’s parking lot. Drove back to Georgia.
Starting the claims process
Safely back in Georgia, our focus shifted to the damage and getting our RV fixed. It was time to get on the phone with Good Sam insurance and start the claim process. Surprisingly, the first steps were easy and went smoothly. I called the number and filed an accident claim. They assigned us a claims adjuster and texted me all of his contact information. A few days later, I was able to schedule a call with ..read more

Tire Blowout Part 2
Recap – We experienced a major front tire blowout on our motorhome. There was significant damage to the following areas: side fender, tire well, passenger wall, and tile floor. The blowout caused the RV to be disabled on the side of the road.
Most RVers carry some type of roadside assistance and this was the first time we actually got to use the service we had been paying on for 7 years. The real question is how did it perform?
While your experience might be different from ours, here’s how it went.
Are you in a safe place?
Now that I knew the extent of the damage, my ..read more

Hey everyone,
We know we have been pretty quiet lately on our blog. It’s not because we wanted to neglect our blog, it’s because we have been so busy doing videos, projects, creating content for other RV platforms and blogs. One of those projects we had to keep secret, that is until a few days ago..
Now we can let the world know that we were invited to be one of 5 RV influencers to participate in the 1st Great American Cook-Off sponsored by Camping World.
I’m ready to grill and win this thing!
When we got invited to compete, I was excited, but nervous. Surprised that a former ..read more

Montgomery, Alabama
If you are anything like me (and many of my friends), you grew up thinking that history was so boring. It was just plain torture to have to sit and read a history textbook. I remember endless hours reading, highlighting and note taking that still seemed to have little to no affect on my memory beyond the test. I vowed that when I began homeschooling my boys, I would do my best to make education as entertaining as possible.
The boys capped off their studies of suspension bridges by experiencing the Sky Bridge in Gatlinburg, TN.

We sincerely send our prayers out to every family and every person who has been touched by this dreadful pandemic. Vaccines are currently being administered and our prayer is that in the coming months all of us will start to get back to a normal life. We w ..read more

2020 will go down as the year of COVID-19. Everything has been turned topsy-turvy. We have basically been sheltered in place since the end of February. Our travel plans have been totally destroyed, even when we cancelled our Spring plans, we hoped that our Summer plans would still be intact. Unfortunately, COVID-19 did not dramatically reduce this Summer and we were forced to scrap our big plans. Alaska will have to wait till 2021!
Being the RVing family that we are, we have found a few local getaways that have allowed us to get out there and still stay safe. A trip to the N ..read more
