It’s been 10 years since Dageraad Brewing opened up shop in Burnaby, and the local beer shop is celebrating with its biggest anniversary party to date.
Owner and “chief janitor” Ben Coli told the Burnaby NOW the brewery’s parking lot will host a live band, food trucks, and games, in addition to lots of interesting beers.
The Burnaby Fire Department will run a charity dunk tank at the party.

One of Vancouver’s oldest independent breweries is closed for a while.
Storm Brewing has announced it will be closed for several weeks (likely through the spring) after a clerical error.
“Due to a licensing oversight on our end, we are closed until this issue is resolved,” the business states on social media posts.
The hope is that they’ll be open in summer, the post continues, but an exact date has not been announced.

After having lost a couple of breweries over the last year, Vancouver has a new one.
The CowDog Brew Company has officially opened its doors this weekend, after taking over the former location of Callister, which left its East Vancouver home at the end of 2023.
